Version 0.15 Alpha - December 14th, 2016

  • Pistols are not seeing enough usage and are acting as a brief stepping stone rather than functioning as a sidearm.
    • The ranged weapon slot has been replaced with a primary ranged weapon slot and a secondary ranged weapon slot.
    • All shotguns, rifles, bows and crossbows are equipped to the primary slot.
    • Pistols are equipped to the secondary slot.
    • Pistols should how be used as intended ie: the first step into using firearms and as a secondary weapon in case of a primary weapon jam or to conserve ammunition.
  • Added 2 new pistols: 22 pistol and 357 magnum.
  • Cosmetic changes to a few cards.
  • Changed AR-15 to create more diversity in rifles.
  • Changed pitching wedge to 1 handed.
  • Clarified rule: 1 handed weapons are the only weapons that can be carried in a backpack. Primary and secondary weapons can only be carried in their respective slots.

  • Added 2 new zombies, Bloated Zombie and Nurse.
  • Replaced "Cannot be outrun" with the keyword Relentless.

Version 0.12 Alpha - February 24th, 2016

  • Discovered 10 locations were accidentally excluded from the current alpha test deck, added those locations.
  • If it is night, players no longer get a ranged bonus opening attack.
  • Weather is no longer a sub card type of Event, they are now the new card type Weather.
    • Weather cards now go in their own pile with a unique card back.
    • Added 2 entirely new Weather cards, Solar Eclipse and Full Moon.
    • Modified the affects of nearly all Weather cards to reflect their new roll.
  • A weather card is turned over at the start each round and lasts until the next weather card is turned.
  • All players now share the day.
    • The Fate die is rolled once at the start of the round, it effects all players immediately after being rolled.
    • Each player then plays a location card face up in front of them.
    • Each player proceeds to resolve their location in sequential order, as they would have previously, but share the effects of the Fate die and Weather.
    • Once all players have completed their turn a new round starts, a Weather card is turned and the Fate die is rolled.
  • Added 2 new Event cards, Grizzly Bear and Black Bear.
  • Arrows can now only be retrieved from hits (attacks that kill) and only if you did not run.

Version 0.11 Alpha - February 23rd, 2016

  • Exploring ways to make day/night have a greater impact on the game. Players no longer get a ranged bonus opening attack if it night. 
  • Added Taunt ability to Suit.
  • Increased Dog's XP value from 16 to 20.
  • Added new zombie, SWAT Zombie.
  • Added new night effect to Risen Dead.
  • Changed the way weather events work. They now persist until another weather event is played.
  • Added new events, Light Rain, Earthquake, Full Moon and Black Mold.
  • Changed the one time affects of weather events for almost all previously existing weather events.

Version 0.10 Alpha - February 21st, 2016

  • Added 2 new mutated zombies, Raging Hulk and Screeching Mother.
  • Changed Dark Tunnel to 2 mutated zombies from 2 normal zombies as originally intended.
  • Added new final location, Narrow Ledge.
  • reminder, nearly all images are filler images. They will be changed before official release.
